Hourly Offerings

Laurie offers individualized and customized college and educational consulting services by providing focus, organization, and direction to her students to assist them in achieving their admissions goals.

Depending upon the extent to which the student would benefit from Laurie’s assistance, two hourly packages are available to meet Laurie's clients' needs: a 5-hour and a 10-hour package. Any additional time would be added hourly as needed. 

Consulting Services Provided

• Evaluation of student’s record, including high school transcript, standardized test results, extracurricular activities, athletic activities, and special talents.
• Meetings with the student to develop an action plan for the application process.
• Explanation of the college admissions process, including up-to-date information on the newest changes in college admission trends.
• Referral to resources for test preparation and academic tutoring, if requested.
• Creation of a timeline for students to follow during the pre-application process.
• Assess the college list or help create a list of “best fit” colleges.
• Help with choosing the best topic for the student’s personal statement.
• Assistance with filling out and submitting applications in the fall of senior year.
• Application, Essay, and Resume review.
• Suggest strategies regarding various admissions programs (i.e., Rolling, Early Action, Early Decision I & II, Regular) and support for meeting deadlines.
• Additional services may be provided as needed and agreed upon by the student and Laurie.
